Thousand Oaks, California- The Conejo Oaks Baseball Club released the 2017 summer schedule this past month. The season will consist of 46 games, 28 home games and 18 away games with no overnights and no matchups against teams representing the CCL’s North Division.
The season is set to kick off on June 2nd against the SoCal Grizzlies at Sparky Anderson Field. After going 21- 15 and fighting to the championship as a fourth seed, before losing, the Oaks are looking to reclaim their CCL prominence in the 2017 season.
The road to success will not be easy; however, as the Oaks must begin their season playing eight games in 10 days, including a three-game series against the San Louis Obispo Blues and one game against the Academy Barons. The good news is that 12 of the first 14 games the Oaks play will be at home, with the only three road games, one at the Socal Grizzlies and one against the Orange County Riptide.
